Revel in the cap, the surreal, and the unsettling short films by Georges Méliès, Segundo de Chomón and others followed by a presentation of The Hands of Orlac (1924) — a German Expressionist descent into early body horror as the receiver of a hand transplant turns into a serial killer. Starring the powerhouse of screen presence, Conrad Veidt (of Cabinet of Dr. Caligari and Casablanca fame) The Hands of Orlac is sure to elicit thrills and scares alongside a hefty course of melodrama.

This program consists of a single screening on Saturday, October 31st at 6pm. The collection of films spans over three decades from 1896 - 1929.
