Have ya paid your dues Jack? Yessir the film is in the reel! We present John Carpenter’s iconic departure from horror, Big Trouble in Little China. All American Trucker, Jack Burton, embarks to save the girl with green eyes from ancient evils beneath San Francisco's neon lit Chinatown. Ahead lie bizarre creatures, kung fu, and a mullet we will love eternally. Kurt Russell’s kickass one liners and Carpenter’s electrifying synth score make for a terminally hip cult-classic.
In congruence with his class on the films of John Carpenter, PSU Film Professor Dustin Morrow will introduce the 7:00pm Friday show. Additionally, our own Philip Zevenbergen will be debuting his short horror film, Meat Lovers, before the 9:30pm Friday screening.
